A bit busy

As the title suggests, I have been pretty busy. We finished our first podcast Monday... then realized that it didn't record, so we re-recorded it today. It came out fine, though because we were repeating an already "recorded" show, a lot of the excitement was gone. At any rate, it's a nice feeling to get it out of the way, and it is just another step towards the launch of the new site.
Aside from that, there is the constant process of trying to acclimate to Charlotte. The job pretty much is bogus, not necessarily because of the job itself, but the pay isn't all that great. On top of working, trying to find a replacement/second job is taking up a good chunk of my time.
Six months till school.

And so, it seems, are the bands I love. My buddy over at I am Stiver recently wrote up a post about our favorite band of all time, Clutch. Of course, i got super nostalgic. But it got me thinking about those bands, and their journey through the years. I figured i would write up this little then and now.

In pursuit of...awesome.

We've had a lot of ideas through the years("we" being James, Adam, and myself), and most of them have fallen through the cracks, only to beef up our list of pipe-dreams to a disrespectful level. Each one of us has things that we finally did accomplish, though to be honest... I feel like my list is much shorter than it ought to be. One thing that I want, more than anything, is to make video games. I don't really care how, whether it's through art or science, though i would say I'm leaning more towards art these days, i just want to spend the rest of my life making games.

I have recently made a geographical change in my life, in pursuit of this goal. I really feel like it's my time to shine, and i have the resources and the opportunity, so I couldn't feel good about myself if I didn't take advantage.

The second goal i have set for myself, is to be apart of a multi-contributor site, about games, gadgets, and all things nerd. Soon, and very soon... that goal will be reached. We are finalizing our site as we speak, prepping the content( and finishing it in most cases), and we will be ready. I cannot describe what it feels like to actually do something we set out to do so many years ago. I look forward to what becomes of it.
